Welcome. By booking an appointment with Kalafia Beauty Bar, visiting our studio, or using this website, you're agreeing to the terms set out below. We've kept them friendly and to the point — but please read them through so we're on the same page.
Bookings & reservations
Appointments are reserved especially for you. To hold your slot, we may ask for a small deposit or a card on file — this is applied toward your service on the day. Please arrive a few minutes before your start time so we can welcome you properly and begin without rushing.
Cancellations & changes
Plans shift — we understand. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel, so we can offer the time to another guest. Cancellations made within that window, or missed appointments, may be charged in part or in full.
Late arrivals
If you're running behind, send us a note. We'll do everything we can to accommodate you, though out of fairness to the guests after you, treatments arriving more than fifteen minutes late may be shortened or rescheduled. The full service price still applies.
Payments
We accept major cards and contactless payments at the studio. Prices listed on our menu and website are current at the time of publication and may be adjusted from time to time. Tax and gratuity, where applicable, are additional.
Health & honesty
Many of our services touch the skin, the body, and the senses. Please let us know in advance about allergies, sensitivities, recent procedures, pregnancy, or any medical conditions that may affect your treatment. We may decline or modify a service if it isn't right for you on the day — always with your wellbeing in mind.
Results & aftercare
Every body and every complexion is its own quiet story. We bring care and skill to each appointment, and we'll share aftercare guidance to help your results last. Outcomes can vary, and following our recommendations at home is part of the work we do together.
Refunds
Services rendered are non-refundable. If something didn't sit right, please tell us within seven days — we'll do our best to make it right, whether that's a touch-up, an adjustment, or a conversation. Retail products may be exchanged, unopened, within fourteen days of purchase.
Gift cards
Gift cards are non-refundable, non-transferable for cash, and valid for one year from the date of purchase unless local law requires otherwise. Treat them like a small, lovely envelope of possibility.
Studio etiquette
Our space is shared by many. We ask that phones be kept on quiet, that children attend only when receiving a service, and that everyone be treated with the warmth we'd hope to receive ourselves. We reserve the right to end an appointment if a guest is disrespectful to our team or other clients.

- Guest
- You — any person booking, receiving, or accompanying someone receiving a service with us.
- Service
- Any treatment, ritual, or consultation listed on our menu and performed by a Kalafia practitioner.
- Booking
- A confirmed reservation of time, made online, by email, or in person, for a named service and guest.
- Deposit
- A small sum held to secure your appointment, applied to the final balance on the day of service.
- Aftercare
- The guidance — written or spoken — we share to help your results settle gently and last well.
- Retail
- Products we sell in the studio or online for use at home between visits.
